Swing Moorings
- The proposed redevelopment of Rose Bay and Point Piper Marinas will result in 172 swing moorings being relinquished
- The redeveloped marina will have 159 floating berths which are more environmentally friendly then swing moorings (swing moorings with block and chains destroy the delicate sea grass bed ecosystem)
- NSW Maritime will reissue 15 swing moorings as Private Swing Moorings
- A swing mooring relocation plan has been devised to accommodate these customers;
- Occupy a floating berth on the redeveloped marina
- Move to a commercial swing mooring at another marina (possible closer to residence)
- Move to a NSW Maritime Swing Mooring when available
